Meet Coach John...

 

John Barbagallo is an active member of both the United States Professional Tennis Association and the Georgia Professional Tennis Association. John played NCAA collegiate tennis in Rochester, N.Y. where he served as Co-captain of his tennis team. John received his U.S.P.T.A. teaching certification in 1991 as well as the award for Outstanding Tennis Instruction at Clemson University serving under Clemson's Men's Tennis Coach Chuck Kriese.

 

He received his professional training while employed at Mid-Town Tennis Club where he was awarded a sponsorship by Wilson Sporting Goods. He has instructed both adults and juniors of all ages, including state and nationally ranked players. John's experience includes teaching at country clubs, large tennis clubs, tennis academies, apartment complexes, Universities as well as coaching high school tennis.

 

​Voted as a top pro by Thumbtack.com in 2015 and 2019, as well as by Lessons.com in 2018, Tennis Brookhaven is known for its exceptional teaching methods and personalized approach to tennis coaching. Tennis lessons are tailored to meet each individual's needs.

John has a passion for teaching and helping his students achieve their goals while also enjoying the game. John also volunteers his time to a number of tennis charity events throughout metro Atlanta. John has been a resident of Atlanta since 1995 and a resident of Brookhaven since 2001. John offers Brookhaven tennis lessons and tennis coaching in Brookhaven, GA and Buckhead, GA.
